V100 Electropneumatic Positioner

Brand: Valve Accessories & Controls

By adding the internal I/P module, the base model V100 Pneumatic valve positioner is quickly converted to an electropneumatic valve positioner-at time of order or in the field-simple and effective.

The I/P module is fed supply pressure air through specially designed filters and uses a 4-20mA analog signal to convert this supply air to a 3-15 signal for mechanical positioner response.

This also means that troubleshooting this product is simple and the I/P module can be replaced while mounted on the actuator.

An I/P conversion kit would include the I/P module and terminal board, an O-ring to seal the board, a screw to secure the board, and a special stainless steel 1/4” plug for plugging (tightly) the I/P port on the gauge block. (Items 3,18, 20, and 41 of spare parts).

V100-TUF (TUFRAM®)

Where added corrosion resistance is needed, the V100P or E Tufram® coated unit provides this needed protection. Engineers worldwide have recognized the benefits of Tufram® in all types of manufacturing and process industries.

The unique qualities of Tufram® add minimal dimensional change to the positioner and coat the product extremely well in all “corners” of the product.

V100-NIC

Nickel coating-This VAC unit is available in a V100P-NIC for pneumatic applications or a V100E-NIC for electropneumatic applications.

This high phosphor nickel plating is considered one of the most corrosion-resistant nickel coatings available.

The combinations of the VAC nickel-coated unit, and many of the stainless actuators make a very good corrosion resistant package, stretching our products range of applications.

All of the options like special cams, dome indicators, position feedback, and more are available.

V100E-GA

When natural gas is being used as the operating medium for valve/actuator applications, this electronpneumatic positioner is FM, CSA, and CE approved for use on natural gas.

This compact, rugged package delivers reliable performance in all types of environments. While accepting a 4/20 mA input signal, the transducers deliver a 3-15 psi output to the positioner and throttle supply pressure (up to 100 psi) accurately to the actuator.

The unique mounting of the transducer to the positioner is efficient and compact. The positioner itself is a NEMA 4X enclosure and has a tapped 1/4” exhaust port that allows for venting or capturing of the operating medium.

The large positioner indicator provides a clear indication of the valve position and can be fitted with a dome style indicator if needed. The modular positioner and converter can be ordered as an assembled unit or retrofitted in the field.

V100E 0/10 VDC

The combination of the base model V100 and this compact 0/10 V transducer, makes a simple package for applications where a 0-10 VDC signal is desired.

Often found in the HVAC market, but certainly adaptable to the industrial process market, the modular design of the product allows for simple conversion at the time of order or in the field.

The IP module is extremely resistant to vibration, is not orientation sensitive, and has very low air consumption.

Once mounted on an actuator, zero and span adjustments are made in the pneumatic positioner, which is simple and quick. The package is NEMA 4X rated, die-cast aluminum housing, and extremely rugged in construction.
